CFL Recycling Drop-off Locations
Compact Fluorescent light bulbs use 75% less energy and last 10 times longer than the traditional incandescent light bulbs and are a critical component to reducing energy usage of homes and businesses. However, it is critical that they are not thrown in the trash when they stop working as they contain small amounts of mercury that are harmful to humans and wildlife. The simplest solution to disposing of CFL’s is to take them to an authorized drop-off location.
